Description
This small original artwork takes its inspiration from the Australian bush. Gum flowers and leaves are drawn in graphite over layers of painted paper cut outs that have been placed as the original background layer to represent blue gum tree bark. Looking deep into the work you can see the subtle layers beneath the final subject, making it an interesting piece to view. This artwork pairs well with Among the Gums #4 as a set of 2. If a small area is all you have to fill, this series of small works provide the perfect solution.
