Description
This expressive painting is full of energy and movement, and was the pivotal work that inspired the Kaiviti model of the Creative Process, used in Art for Wellbeing methods. This painting went on a journey, where expectation of outcome was relinquished allowing the creative process to be the guide. What started out as an olive green painting of a bird and cascading leaves, became this evocative work of a nest and gum nuts. Elements of the original work remain deep in the layers, drawing the viewer in to discover what lies beneath.
